    Cook the Pasta

    In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Sauté Garlic and Spinach

    In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.

    Add Tomatoes

    Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet with the spinach and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the tomatoes are soft.

    Combine Ingredients

    Add the drained penne pasta to the skillet and toss everything together. Sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

    Serve

    Serve the Pasta Florentine hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
