Directions

  1. 1

Make the Brown Sugar Simple Syrup

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar and an equal amount of water (1 tablespoon). Stir until the sugar has dissolved, then remove from heat and let cool.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Coffee

Brew your favorite coffee and pour 1 cup into a coffee mug, leaving some space for the whiskey and cream.

  3. 3

    Add the Whiskey and Syrup

Stir in 1 oz of Jameson Irish Whiskey and 1 tablespoon of the cooled brown sugar simple syrup into the hot coffee.

  4. 4

    Whip the Cream

In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and 0.5 tsp of vanilla extract. Whip until soft peaks form.

  5. 5

    Top the Coffee

Spoon the whipped cream over the coffee mixture, allowing it to float on top. Do not stir.

  6. 6

    Serve

Garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or chocolate shavings if desired, and serve immediately.
