Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Wings
In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and toss them in the flour mixture until evenly coated.
- 2
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or fryer, heat the oil to 375°F (190°C).
- 3
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the coated wings to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove wings and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 4
Prepare the Sauces
While the wings are frying, you can prepare the sauces. For the whiskey soy sauce, mix the whiskey with soy sauce in a bowl. For the buffalo honey sauce, mix buffalo sauce with honey. For the chipotle BBQ, use it straight from the bottle. For the mango habanero, blend the mango puree with habanero sauce.
- 5
Toss the Wings
Once the wings are cooked, toss them in your choice of sauce until evenly coated.
- 6
Serve
Serve the wings hot with celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side.
