Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

Divide the ground beef into equal portions (about 0.25 pounds each) and shape them into patties. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each patty for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and add cheese to the top of each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patty reaches desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Buns and Toppings

Lightly toast the brioche buns on the grill or in a toaster. Set out the lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and any additional condiments (such as ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise) for guests to choose from.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burgers

On each toasted bun, place the cooked beef patty, followed by the chosen toppings. Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
