Method

Brewing the Coffee

1

Measure Coffee Grounds

Start by measuring 1 cup of coarsely ground coffee. This will serve as the base for brewing your coffee.

2

Heat the Water

In a kettle or pot, bring 8 cups of filtered water to a boil. Make sure to use fresh, cold water for the best taste.

3

Combine Coffee and Water

Once the water has reached a boil, remove it from heat and let it cool for about 30 seconds. Pour the hot water over the coffee grounds in a coffee maker or French press.

4

Steep the Coffee

Allow the coffee to steep for 4-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your coffee. If using a French press, put the lid on with the plunger pulled up.

5

Press and Serve

If using a French press, slowly push the plunger down to separate the grounds from the brewed coffee. If using a coffee maker, simply let it finish brewing. Pour the coffee into cups.

Adding Flavor

6

Add Sugar

If desired, add sugar to taste. Stir well until dissolved.

7

Add Milk or Cream

Pour in milk or cream according to your preference. Stir to combine.

8

Add Flavored Syrups

If you enjoy flavored coffee, add your preferred syrup (vanilla, hazelnut, etc.) to taste and stir.
