Crispy Chicken Sandwich Ingredients
Method
Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Start by flattening the chicken breasts to even thickness. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate bowls, place flour in the first, beaten eggs mixed with buttermilk in the second, and a mixture of bread crumbs, salt, pepper, and paprika in the third.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat with the bread crumb mixture. Press the crumbs firmly onto the chicken.
- 4
Fry the Chicken
In a frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- 5
Make the House Sauce
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, dill pickle juice, garlic powder, and dill until well combined.
- 6
Assemble the Sandwich
Toast the brioche buns. Spread the house sauce on the bottom half, add the fried chicken, top with dill pickles, and cover with the top half of the bun.
- 7
Serve
Serve immediately and enjoy your crispy chicken pickle sandwich!
