Chicken Cutlet and Sauce

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.

  2. 2

    Bread the Chicken

Coat each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess. Dip into beaten eggs, then press into breadcrumbs until well coated. Place on a baking sheet.

  3. 3

    Fry the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the breaded chicken cutlets for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer to the baking sheet.

  4. 4

    Add Sauce and Cheese

Pour your choice of marinara or vodka sauce over the fried chicken cutlets. Top with mozzarella cheese and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.

  5. 5

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. 6

    Prepare Gnocchi

In a separate pot, boil water and add gnocchi. Cook according to package instructions until they float. Drain and lightly fry in a skillet until golden brown.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve the chicken parm platter hot, alongside the fried gnocchi.
