Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribeye

Season the ribeye steak generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Sear the Ribeye

Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Once hot, add the ribeye steak and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time for your preferred doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Garlic Butter

During the last minute of cooking, add butter and crushed garlic cloves to the skillet. Spoon the melted butter over the steak repeatedly.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the ribeye from the skillet and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

  5. 5

    Cook the Broccolini

In the same skillet, add the broccolini and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. 6

    Fry the Shallots

Slice the shallots thinly and fry them in the same skillet until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  7. 7

    Plate the Dish

Slice the ribeye and serve with sautéed broccolini, a dollop of horseradish cream, and top with fried shallots.
