Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium heat. Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper. Fry the wings until golden brown and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- 2
Make the Waffle Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. In another bowl, mix together the milk, eggs, and melted butter. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- 3
Cook the Waffle
Preheat your waffle maker. Pour enough batter into the waffle maker to cover the bottom, close the lid, and cook until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter.
- 4
Plate the Dish
Place the cooked waffle on a plate and arrange the fried chicken wings around it. Dust the top of the waffle with powdered sugar and garnish with a fresh strawberry.
