Jalapeño Popper Ingredients

Method

Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cook the bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain and crumble the bacon, then set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Jalapeños

Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and membranes for a milder popper or leave them in for extra heat.

  3. 3

    Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  4. 4

    Stuff the Jalapeños

Using a spoon, fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, packing it in well.

  5. 5

    Bake the Popper

Place the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the jalapeños are tender.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your jalapeño poppers warm!
