Lamb Marinade

Prepare the Marinade
In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and yogurt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Marinate the Lamb
Add the diced lamb to the marinade and mix until the lamb is well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight to enhance the flavor.

Cook the Lamb
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the marinated lamb from the refrigerator and skewer it onto metal skewers or place directly into the skillet. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.

Cook the Rice
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 2 cups of basmati rice and salt. Stir once, then cover and reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is tender and water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let sit covered for 5 minutes.
