Preparing the Salmon

Marinate the Salmon
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Add the salmon fillets to the bowl and coat them evenly with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature.

Preheat the Grill
While the salmon is marinating, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until it is fully liquefied.

Add Garlic and Lemon
Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then, stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest.

Finish the Sauce
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped fresh parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the grill and place it on serving plates.
