Marinade Preparation

Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and place them in a bowl.

Mix Marinade Ingredients
In the bowl with chicken, add yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.

Marinate
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for more flavor.
Cooking the Chicken

Cook the Chicken
In a large pan over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

Add Crushed Tomatoes
Add the crushed canned tomatoes to the pan and stir well. Let it simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.

Add Cream
Stir in the heavy cream and mix until well combined. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.

Combine Chicken and Sauce
Return the cooked chicken to the pan, stirring to coat the chicken in the sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes to let the flavors meld together.

Garnish
Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped cilantro before serving.
