Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat, around 450-500°F (232-260°C).

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the seasoned steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips or wedges, about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 6

    Soak the Potatoes

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat them dry with a towel.

  3. 7

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  4. 8

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 9

    Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.

Salad Preparation

  1. 10

    Prepare the Salad Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber.

  2. 11

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 12

    Toss the Salad

Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
