Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Angus Beef Patties

Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Form the Angus beef into four equal patties, each about 1 inch thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add the sliced onions to the grill or skillet to caramelize.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Burger Buns

While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly golden.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burgers

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked Angus patty topped with sliced tomatoes and caramelized onions. Finish with a crispy onion ring and a generous drizzle of the cilantro mayo.

  5. 5

    Serve

Top the burgers with the other half of the toasted bun and serve immediately with your favorite side dish.
