Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prep the Noodles

Start by soaking the flat rice noodles in warm water for about 30 minutes until they are soft. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a large wok or skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

  3. 3

    Sauté Garlic and Chilies

Add the minced garlic and chopped chilies to the hot oil. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  4. 4

    Add Tofu

Add the cubed tofu to the wok and cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Add Vegetables

Stir in the sliced bell pepper, julienned carrot, and chopped green onions. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Combine the Noodles

Add the soaked rice noodles to the wok, tossing them with the vegetables and tofu.

  7. 7

    Add Sauces

Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and brown sugar. Mix well to coat the noodles evenly.

  8. 8

    Finish with Lime and Basil

Add the lime juice and basil leaves. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes until everything is heated through.

  9. 9

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with additional basil if desired.
