Cook the Linguine
In a large pot of salted boiling water, add the linguine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water.

Sauté the Shrimp
In a large skillet over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Once hot, add the shrimp and season with salt, pepper, and half of the lemon zest. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.

Finish the Dish
Return the sautéed shrimp to the skillet. Add the rest of the lemon zest, chopped parsley, and stir well. Cook for another minute to heat through.
