Julienne the Vegetables
Using a sharp knife or a julienne peeler, carefully julienne the green papaya and carrot into thin strips. Place them in a large mixing bowl.

Chop Garlic and Tomatoes
Mince the garlic cloves and set them aside. Halve the cherry tomatoes and add them to the mixing bowl with the papaya and carrot.
Making the Dressing

Combine Dressing Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine lime juice, tamarind paste, fish sauce, and palm sugar. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved. Adjust seasoning with red chili to taste.
Assembly

Combine Salad and Dressing
Pour the dressing over the prepared vegetables in the mixing bowl. Toss well to ensure all ingredients are coated with the dressing.

Serve
Transfer the salad to a serving plate. Garnish with additional cherry tomatoes or chili if desired, and serve immediately.
