Method

Preparation of Tea Base

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and add 4 tablespoons of Thai tea leaves. Let it steep for about 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Strain Tea

After steeping, strain the tea leaves using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a heatproof container. Allow the tea to cool completely.

Making the Creamy Mixture

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a separate bowl, combine 0.5 cups of condensed milk, 0.5 cups of half and half, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is well combined.

Serving the Thai Iced Tea

  1. 5

    Assemble the Drink

Fill a glass with ice cubes to your preference. Pour the cooled Thai tea over the ice until the glass is about two-thirds full.

  2. 6

    Add Creamy Mixture

Top the tea with the creamy mixture prepared earlier, stirring gently to combine.

  3. 7

    Garnish

Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an extra touch of flavor. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Thai iced tea!
