Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Pickles
Drain the sliced dill pickles and pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- 2

In a bowl, mix together the flour, cornmeal, cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- 3
Coat the Pickles
Dip each pickle slice into the buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture until fully coated.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Pickles
Fry the coated pickles in batches for 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove them from the oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
