Directions
1. Prepare Hibiscus Tea
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the dried hibiscus flowers and reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
2. Strain and Sweeten
Remove from heat, and strain the mixture into a pitcher, discarding the flowers. While the tea is still warm, stir in the sugar until fully dissolved.
3. Dilute and Flavor
Add the remaining 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher. Stir in the lime juice for added flavor.
4. Serve
Serve the Aguas Frescas over ice and garnish with mint leaves if desired.
