Preparation
Prepare the Cake
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk together until well combined.
Add Wet Ingredients
Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix with an electric mixer on medium speed until well combined.
Incorporate Boiling Water
Carefully stir in the boiling water (the batter will be thin).
Bake the Cake
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool the Cake
Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove from pans and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Frost the Cake
Once the cakes are completely cool, spread a layer of brigadeiro frosting between the two layers and on top and sides of the cake. Press chocolate sprinkles onto the sides of the cake.
