Prepare the Coffee Mixture

Brew Espresso
Brew 1 cup of strong espresso coffee and allow it to cool slightly.

In a bowl, combine the brewed espresso, coffee liqueur, and granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Make the Mascarpone Filling

Whip Heavy Cream
In a mixing bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

Prepare Egg Mixture
In another bowl, whisk together 3 egg yolks and 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar until the mixture is pale and creamy.

Combine Ingredients
Gently fold in 1 cup of mascarpone cheese and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract into the egg yolk mixture. Then, carefully fold in the whipped cream until fully combined.
Assemble the Tiramisu

Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer the Ingredients
In a rectangular dish, lay half of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone filling over the ladyfingers.

Repeat Layers
Repeat the process with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone filling.

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
