Preparation of Ingredients

1

Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy. Once cooked to your liking, remove them from the skillet and let them drain on paper towels.

2

Slice the Tomato

While the bacon is cooking, slice the medium tomato into thin slices for layering in the sandwich.

Assembling the Sandwich

3

Prepare the Bread

Take 4 slices of bread and spread 1 tablespoon of softened butter on one side of each slice.

4

Layer the Cheeses

On the unbuttered side of 2 slices of bread, layer 2 slices of American cheese, followed by 1 cup of shredded Jack cheese, and 1 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese.

5

Add Bacon and Tomato

Crumble the cooked bacon and sprinkle it evenly over the cheese layers. Place the sliced tomato on top of the bacon.

6

Top the Sandwich

Top with the remaining 2 slices of bread, buttered side facing out. Press down gently to secure the layers.

Grilling the Sandwich

7

Heat the Skillet

In the same skillet used for the bacon, heat it over medium-low heat.

8

Grill the Sandwich

Place the assembled sandwich in the skillet. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown and crispy. Carefully flip the sandwich and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes, ensuring the cheese melts completely.

9

Serve

Once both sides are golden brown and the cheese is melted, remove from the skillet. Let it cool for a minute, then slice in half and serve immediately.
