Prepare the Bread
Spread butter on one side of each slice of rye bread.
Layer the Ingredients
On the unbuttered side of two slices of rye bread, place a patty, followed by a slice of Swiss cheese, a slice of cheddar cheese, and a generous amount of caramelized onions. Top with another patty and close with another slice of rye bread, buttered side facing out.
