Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil, then season both sides generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and fresh rosemary.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat, approximately 450°F (232°C).

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the seasoned steaks on the hot grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached. Use a meat thermometer if necessary.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to make fries.

  2. 6

    Soak the Fries

Place the cut fries in a bowl of cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  3. 7

    Heat the Oil

In a deep fryer or a large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  4. 8

    Fry the Potatoes

Drain the soaked fries and pat them dry with a paper towel. Carefully add the fries to the hot oil in batches, frying for 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.

  5. 9

    Season the Fries

Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Immediately sprinkle with salt and paprika while they are still hot.
