Steak Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub olive oil on both sides of the steaks. Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and garlic powder evenly on both sides.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat until it's hot.

  4. 4

    Cook the Steak

Place the steaks on the hot grill or skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on one side for medium-rare, then flip and cook for an additional 4 minutes. Adjust cooking time based on your preferred doneness.

  5. 5

    Add Fresh Herbs

During the last minute of cooking, add the fresh rosemary sprigs to the pan for extra flavor.

  6. 6

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Optional Side Instructions

  1. 7

    Prepare the Asparagus

While the steak is resting, prepare the asparagus by trimming the ends.

  2. 8

    Cook the Asparagus

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add the asparagus. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender and slightly browned.

  3. 9

    Serve Together

Plate the ribeye steak alongside the sautéed asparagus for a complete meal.
