Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Chill the Champagne

Place the bottle of Champagne or sparkling wine in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until thoroughly chilled.

  2. 2

    Juice the Oranges

If using fresh oranges, juice them until you have 2 cups of fresh orange juice. Strain the juice to remove pulp if desired.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large pitcher, pour the chilled Champagne or sparkling wine first, then slowly add the fresh orange juice. Stir gently to combine, being careful to keep the bubbles.

  2. 4

    Serve

Pour the mimosa mixture into champagne flutes or glasses, filling them halfway to allow for foam.

Garnishing

  1. 5

    Add Garnishes

If desired, garnish each glass with a slice of orange or a few mint leaves for an extra touch of freshness.
