Method

Prepare Omelette Base

  1. 1

    Beat the Eggs

In a medium bowl, crack 4 large eggs. Add 2 tablespoons of milk, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 0.5 teaspoon of black pepper. Whisk together until well combined and slightly frothy.

  2. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a non-stick skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat until melted and bubbling.

Cook the Omelette

  1. 3

    Add Egg Mixture

Pour the beaten egg mixture into the skillet, tilting the pan to evenly distribute the eggs. Let it cook undisturbed for 1-2 minutes until the edges begin to set.

  2. 4

    Add Fillings

Once the edges are set, sprinkle your desired fillings evenly over one half of the omelette. You can choose from the fillings: 0.5 cups of cheddar cheese, 1 cup of spinach, 0.5 cups of diced bell pepper, 0.5 cups of sliced mushrooms, 0.25 cups of diced onion, 0.5 cups of diced tomato, 0.5 cups of cooked ham, and 2 tablespoons of fresh herbs.

  3. 5

    Fold and Finish Cooking

Using a spatula, carefully fold the omelette in half, covering the fillings. Allow it to cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts and the inside is cooked to your desired doneness.

Gently slide the omelette onto a plate. You can garnish it with more fresh herbs if desired.
