Mediterranean Lamb Burger Directions
- 1
Prepare the Lamb Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped mint, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well using your hands or a spoon until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the lamb mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

- 4
Cook the Patties
Place the patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) for safety.
- 5
Assemble the Burgers
Once cooked, remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the pita bread or burger buns by toasting them lightly if desired.
- 6
Top and Serve
Place each lamb patty on the bread, and top with crumbled feta cheese, sliced cucumber, sliced tomato, and thinly sliced red onion. Drizzle with tzatziki sauce and serve immediately.
