Flatbread and Toppings

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Flatbread

Preheat your coal-fired oven to a high temperature, around 700°F (370°C). Brush the flatbreads with olive oil and lightly season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Add Toppings

Evenly distribute the shredded fontina cheese over the flatbreads. Add the shaved apple slices and pancetta on top of the cheese. Sprinkle the crumbled gorgonzola cheese over everything.

  3. 3

    Bake

Place the prepared flatbreads in the coal-fired oven and bake for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the flatbread are crispy.

  4. 4

    Drizzle with Hot Honey

Remove the flatbreads from the oven, and while still hot, drizzle with hot honey to taste.

  5. 5

    Serve

Slice the flatbreads and serve immediately, enjoying the combination of flavors.
