Cook the Pancetta
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the pancetta and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- 3
Sauté the Vegetables
Add the sliced red onion to the skillet and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until softened. Then add the minced garlic and chili flakes, cooking for an additional minute.

Add the Pomodoro
Pour in the canned pomodoro and season with salt and black pepper. Stir well and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- 5
Cook the Spaghetti
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.

Combine and Serve
Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency. Serve hot.
