Fried Chicken

Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine buttermilk, salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Prepare the Coating
In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

Fry the Chicken
Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade, dredge in flour mixture, and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

Combine and Cook
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Preheat the waffle iron and cook waffles according to the manufacturer's instructions until golden brown.
Maple Tahini Sauce

Mix the Sauce
In a small bowl, combine tahini, maple syrup, lemon juice, and water. Whisk until smooth. Adjust salt to taste.
