Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Broth

In a large pot, combine the pork bone marrow and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 4 hours to extract the flavors, skimming off any foam that rises to the surface.

  2. 2

    Add Seasoning

Once the broth is ready, stir in the miso paste, soy sauce, and mirin. Allow it to simmer for an additional 30 minutes. Adjust salt to taste.

  3. 3

    Cook the Ramen Noodles

While the broth is simmering, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  4. 4

    Prepare Toppings

Slice the chashu pork and chop the scallions. Blanch the bean sprouts in boiling water for about 1 minute, then drain.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Ramen

In serving bowls, place a portion of cooked ramen noodles, ladle the hot miso broth over the noodles, and top with chashu pork, scallions, and bean sprouts.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the miso ramen hot and enjoy with additional toppings as desired.
