Marinade

Method

Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a large bowl, combine the chicken pieces with turmeric powder, red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated. Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Fry the Chicken

In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken pieces and fry until they are golden brown and cooked through, about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to stir occasionally to cook evenly.

  2. 3

    Add Onions and Spices

Add the sliced onions and slit green chilies to the pan. Sauté until the onions are translucent and lightly browned. Then add the curry leaves, coriander powder, and garam masala powder, mixing well to coat the chicken.

  3. 4

    Finish the Dish

Continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Once the chicken is well coated with the masala and fully cooked, remove from heat and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
