Dough Preparation

Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes until frothy.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Mix well.

Knead the Dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Let Dough Rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Cooking Naan

Prepare Topping
In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, chopped green chillies, and chopped cilantro. Set aside.

Shape the Naan
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 6 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and then flatten it into an oval shape.

Cook the Naan
Preheat a tandoor or skillet over medium-high heat. Place one naan on the surface and cook for about 2-3 minutes until bubbles form on the top.

Repeat the cooking process with the remaining naan. Serve warm.
