Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Cut the cottage cheese into cubes. Chop the onion and bell pepper into bite-sized pieces. Slit the hot green chilies lengthwise.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Heat Oil

In a large pan or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat.

  2. 3

    Sauté Onions

Add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté until they become translucent.

  3. 4

    Add Peppers and Chilies

Add the chopped bell pepper and slit green chilies to the pan. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the peppers become slightly tender.

  4. 5

    Add Cottage Cheese

Gently add the paneer cubes to the pan, stirring carefully to avoid breaking them.

  5. 6

    Season the Mixture

Pour in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup. Season with salt and black pepper powder. Mix well to coat the paneer and vegetables evenly.

  6. 7

    Cook Thoroughly

Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes on low heat, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Garnishing

  1. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Optionally, sprinkle chopped spring onions and coriander leaves on top before serving. Serve hot with rice or naan.
