Chicken Kebabs

Tandoori Chicken Marinade

Method

Chicken Kebabs Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the boneless chicken breast into 1-inch cubes. Chop the bell peppers and red onion into similar-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken cubes and vegetables. Toss to coat well, then cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Kebabs

Soak the skewers in water for 15 minutes if using wooden skewers. Thread the marinated chicken and vegetables onto the skewers, alternating between chicken and veggies.

  4. 4

    Grill the Kebabs

Preheat the grill on medium-high heat. Grill the kebabs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.

Tandoori Chicken Preparation

  1. 5

    Make the Marinade

In a large bowl, mix yogurt, tandoori spice mix, lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, and salt until well combined.

  2. 6

    Marinate the Chicken

Add the bone-in chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for best flavor.

  3. 7

    Prepare to Cook

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare a grill for medium heat. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil if using the oven.

  4. 8

    Cook the Tandoori Chicken

Place the marinated chicken on the prepared baking sheet or grill. Bake or grill for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
