Marinade

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Make the Marinade

In the same bowl, add sour cream, white pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, garam masala, and chopped cilantro.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Mix all ingredients well until the chicken is fully coated in the marinade.

  4. 4

    Marinate

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

Grilling

  1. 5

    Prepare the Skewers

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

  2. 6

    Skewer the Chicken

Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers. Leave some space between each piece for even cooking.

  3. 7

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

  4. 8

    Brush with Oil

Lightly brush the skewers with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.

  5. 9

    Grill the Kebabs

Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.

  6. 10

    Serve

Remove the kebabs from the grill and serve hot with mint chutney, lemon wedges, and salad.
