Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crab Claws

Rinse the crab claws under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Mix the Coating

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Coat the Crab Claws

Dredge each crab claw in the flour mixture, ensuring they are well-coated. Shake off any excess flour.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a deep skillet or fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  5. 5

    Flash-Fry the Crab Claws

Carefully add the coated crab claws to the hot oil in small batches. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  6. 6

    Drain and Serve

Remove the crab claws from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with house comeback sauce.
