Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it's hot enough for crispy fries.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Sweet Potatoes

Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips, approximately 1/4 inch wide.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Season the Fries

In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato strips with olive oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  2. 4

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Spread the seasoned sweet potato fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure they are not overcrowded for even cooking.

  3. 5

    Bake the Fries

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

  4. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven, allow to cool for a few minutes, then serve hot as a side dish or snack.
