Method
Meat Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- 2
Season the Ribs
Rub the pork ribs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- 3
Bake the Ribs
Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet and cover with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and pulls apart easily.
- 4
Shred the Meat
Remove the ribs from the oven, let them cool slightly, and then use two forks to pull the meat apart into bite-sized pieces.
Sandwich Assembly
- 5
Prepare the Buns
While the ribs are baking, toast the sandwich buns in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown.
- 6
Assemble the Sandwiches
On the bottom half of each toasted bun, layer a generous portion of the pulled ribmeat. Drizzle with BBQ sauce to taste.
- 7
Add Toppings
Top the meat with pickles and sliced onions as desired. Place the top half of the bun over the fillings.
