Method

Cooking the Ribs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub the seasoning mixture all over the ribs.

  3. 3

    Cook the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the meat is tender.

  4. 4

    Pull the Meat

Once the ribs are done cooking, let them rest for about 10 minutes. Then, using two forks, pull the meat off the bones and chop it into bite-sized pieces.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 5

    Prepare the Sandwich

Cut the sandwich buns in half. Place a generous portion of the pulled rib meat onto the bottom half of each bun.

  2. 6

    Add Toppings

Top the pulled meat with pickles and diced onions to taste.

  3. 7

    Finish the Sandwich

Place the top half of the bun on each sandwich and serve immediately. Enjoy your ribmeat sandwich!
