Method

Prepare Ribs

  1. 1

    Seasoning the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub the seasoning all over the pork ribs.

  2. 2

    Baking the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover tightly with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  3. 3

    Finishing with BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and brush them with BBQ sauce. Broil for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce caramelizes.

Cook Meats

  1. 4

    Prepare Brisket

Season brisket with salt and pepper. Cook in a slow cooker or smoker until tender, about 8 hours on low.

  2. 5

    Prepare Pulled Pork

Season the pulled pork with salt and pepper, and cook in a slow cooker on low for 8 hours or until it shreds easily.

Prepare Sides

  1. 6

    Coleslaw

In a bowl, mix together sliced cabbage, carrots, and coleslaw dressing. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

  2. 7

    Baked Beans

Heat canned baked beans in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

Make Cornbread

  1. 8

    Mixing Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, combine milk, egg, and melted butter.

  2. 9

    Baking Cornbread

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix just until combined. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
