Method

Chicken Strips

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into strips and season with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Breading Process

Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with a beaten egg, and one with breadcrumbs. Dip each chicken strip first in flour, then egg, and finally in breadcrumbs until fully coated.

  3. 3

    Frying

Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the breaded chicken strips into the oil. Fry until golden brown on both sides, approximately 5-7 minutes. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Grilled Cheese Sandwich

  1. 4

    Butter the Bread

Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, on a skillet. Top with cheese slices and then cover with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.

  3. 6

    Grill the Sandwich

Cook on medium heat until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Flip carefully and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese has melted, about another 3-4 minutes.

Sides

  1. 7

    Prepare the Sides

Wash and cut the carrots into sticks and slice the apples. Arrange them in a serving bowl.

Drinks

  1. 8

    Serve Drinks

Choose either juice or water and pour into cups for serving.
