Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Shred the cooked chicken and pork into bite-sized pieces. Slice the smoked sausage. Chop the onion and green beans, and mince the garlic.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large pot, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.

  2. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Add the shredded chicken, shredded pork, sliced smoked sausage, vegetable broth, diced tomatoes, corn, and green beans to the pot.

  3. 4

    Season the Stew

Stir in the BBQ sauce, salt, black pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, and thyme. Combine well.

  4. 5

    Simmer

Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 30-35 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. 6

    Serve

Once the stew has thickened and flavors have melded, serve hot in bowls.
