Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Macaroni

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the macaroni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Cheese Sauce

In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly until it forms a roux.

  3. 3

    Add Milk

Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue to cook, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. 4

    Incorporate Cheeses

Reduce heat to low and add the shredded cheddar cheese and cream cheese. Stir until melted and smooth. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  5. 5

    Add Brisket

Fold in the cooked brisket into the cheese sauce and mix well.

  6. 6

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the drained macaroni pasta to the brisket and cheese sauce mixture. Stir until the pasta is well coated.

Baking

  1. 7

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 8

    Transfer to Baking Dish

Transfer the mac and cheese mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

  3. 9

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

  4. 10

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy your Brisket Mac N Cheese!
