Method

Ribs Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub the mixture all over the full slab of pork ribs.

  2. 2

    Cook the Ribs

Preheat your grill to medium heat. Place the seasoned ribs on the grill and cook for about 2-3 hours, turning occasionally, until the meat is tender and the internal temperature reaches 190°F (88°C).

  3. 3

    Add BBQ Sauce

During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the BBQ sauce over the ribs and continue cooking until caramelized.

Cornbread Preparation

  1. 4

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, and baking powder.

  2. 5

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and melted butter.

  3. 6

    Combine and Bake

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Meat Preparation

  1. 7

    Cook Sausage

Grill or pan-fry the sausage link until fully cooked, about 10-15 minutes.

  2. 8

    Prepare Brisket

Season brisket with salt and pepper, then smoke or roast in the oven at 225°F (107°C) for about 4-6 hours until tender.

  3. 9

    Reheat Pulled Pork

If using cooked pulled pork, reheat it in a skillet or microwave until warmed through.

Sides Preparation

  1. 10

    Prepare Coleslaw

Combine shredded cabbage, carrots, and your choice of dressing in a large bowl. Toss to mix and set aside.

  2. 11

    Heat Baked Beans

Warm canned baked beans on the stovetop over medium heat until heated through, about 10 minutes.

  3. 12

    Make Macaroni and Cheese

Cook macaroni according to package instructions, drain, and mix with cheese sauce. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 350°F (175°C) until bubbly.
