Omelet Preparation
1. Whisk the Eggs
In a bowl, crack the 3 eggs and whisk them until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
2. Cook the Fillings
In a skillet over medium heat, add the ham, chopped tomato, and chopped onion. Sauté until the onions are translucent and the ham is heated through, about 3-5 minutes.
3. Make the Omelet
Pour the beaten eggs over the filling in the skillet. Cook until the edges start to set, then gently lift the edges with a spatula to allow the uncooked egg to flow underneath. Once the omelet is mostly set, sprinkle the cheese on top.
4. Fold and Serve
