Marinade

Method

Preparation of Marinade

  1. 1

    Mix Marinade Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Whisk together until well blended.

  2. 2

    Marinate Fish

Place the fresh fish fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F or 190-200°C). If using a charcoal grill, prepare the coals until they are covered with ash.

  2. 4

    Grill the Fish

Remove the fish from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the fish fillets on the grill grates. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the fillets, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks.

  3. 5

    Serving

Once grilled to perfection, remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges and garnish with additional chopped parsley if desired.
